Nest Gifts $50, $25 & $15

Nest is the place to go for cool gift ideas this Holiday season.  Below is a sampling of my top pics.

Nest is a nonprofit organization that empowers female artists and artisans around the world. Using a unique combination of interest-free microfinance loans, mentoring from established designers, as well as a market in which to sell their crafts, Nest helps its loan recipients create successful small businesses. Nest instills pride of ownership, preserves ancient artistic traditions and successfully moves women from poverty to self-sufficiency.

A Book Experience

This is an honorary entry because I admire the magic behind the idea at The Lollipop Book Club. Mom, Karen, realized that there were too many toys in their families life and believed that books were better presents as they lasted longer but noticed that the books she got her kids just stacked up. Until she got the idea to mail her kids the books and have them opened as their special package. She noticed the kids treating the books more special and then started to do the same when their family was invited to a bday party. She got such a huge response that she  knew there was something there and decided to make a business out of it. This is a must see website and I'm inspired to buy this book as Thanksgiving is right around the corner

Featuring a simple text, this book reminds both kids and adults about the little things that make each day enjoyable. Includes a page for readers to write their own special thoughts.
